Webster Lake, as it is commonly known, is a 1,442 acre, spring fed lake located in Webster Massachusetts and just minutes from the Connecticut border. The lake has broken many records. It is the largest natural lake in Massachusetts and it has the longest Place Name in the U.S. The official name of the lake, thanks to the Nipmuck Indians, is Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg! Most people just call it Webster lake for convenience.
